Duane Denton

CHEK Practitioner – Trauma Informed Breathwork Facilitator certified by Owaken Breathwork – CSCS

Duane has over 10 years of experience in the health and wellness field. He began as a personal trainer while earning his degree in Sports and Exercise Science at the University of Central Florida.

He has competed in Ironman triathlons, several marathons, and most recently ultramarathons. Duane believes there is an athlete within each and every one of us and he is committed to helping all of his clients realize their highest potential. The “what” can be anything… it’s the “why” that makes any of our endeavors worth pursuing. Who do you want to be?

At Pura Vida Wellness, Duane uses his background in exercise science and holistic health and nutrition to help bridge the gap between the mind and heart in each individual he works with.

In his free time you can find him out in nature training for his next endurance challenge, fishing/diving, or adventuring with his 3 dogs.

WHAT IS A CHEK PRACTITIONER?

“Health exists when one experiences well-being.

Well-being is a state of body-mind-spirit harmony created and maintained by the self-aware, self-responsible individual through consistent acts of love for themselves, others, and the world.”
